Convert/Import AVCHD (MTS/M2TS file) Video to Final Cut Pro (FCP) on MAC

Easy Steps of Importing AVCHD video from the camcorder into FCP:
Preparaton: Plug in your camera and save MTS video on the hard drive.
Step 1 ) Add source files:
Download and run AVCHD Converter for Mac. Then open main interface and click Add Files for adding MTS files.
If you want to work with several source files at once, you need to add the first source file, then do this same sequence for sencond source, third source and so on.
Step 2) Output Settings
As you can see the main window shows up. Click Profile and you have to select your prefer output video format.

Edit: Crop play area, adjust video frame effects, preview the video files, etc for editing AVCHD videos
Merge: Join a couple of camera clips or merge different files into one.
Settings: Next to the pull-down menu of Profile and adjust the Resolution, Frame rate, Encoder and Bitrate of AVCHD files.
Destination: Save your converted files and next Open button to find the converted AVCHD movie files.
Step 3) Start Conversion

Step4) Import converted videos to Final Cut Pro and edit AVCHD video in FCP natively.
